As part of Gütersloh’s 200th city anniversary, the exhibition Fearless Women was on display at the LWL Clinic Gütersloh from March 8 to April 30, 2025. The exhibition, featuring 13 weatherproof reproductions, was ceremoniously opened on International Women’s Day. The works showcase portraits of women who embody courage, integrity, and social commitment.

At the opening, Oliver Schäfer guided numerous interested visitors through the exhibition. Together, they discussed the stories behind the portraits and reflected on why the topic of gender equality is more relevant today than ever. In a time when social and political setbacks are becoming visible worldwide, these images of women are intended to serve both as a reminder and as inspiration.
